Kind of work

What signs are filed in New York City?

3702 filings in the current snapshot record signs. Illuminated and structural signage, which the city permits as building work rather than as advertising.

A filing can record several kinds of work at once, so this count overlaps with the other categories rather than dividing the catalog into separate piles.
